Mortified: Angst Written

12/24/81 Pretty Jelled

Sorry for not writing for so long. Lots and lots has happened since last time. I have long got over Trad. At camp I met a guy named Brian D. We got fake married at the wedding chappel (the best part was kissing him). Then at school in P.E. I met a guy named Joe C. I liked him since the moment I saw him. A few weeks later he asked me to go with him. I went with him till 12/14/81. He asked me on 11/6/81. In that time we went to Kara's party and M.O.* Had some more M.O.'s on the way to soccer practice. He always had to have his hands on me but I always told him to get them off. (Mean, huh?). Oh! It was funny when he asked me. He said "Will you go with me" and I said "Let me think about that one". And then we ran the mile at P.E. and after I went to the boy's side and Andy K. kept going "Are you going yet?" then Joe said "Well do you want to go with me" and I said "ya I guess I will" then he asked me for my phone # and I gave it to him and he wrote it on his book. He asked me the first time right after the nutrition bell rang to go back to 2nd period. He called me that night and I got all nervous. The next 2 nights we talked and I got all nervous and at the end he said "I love you" and I said "I love you too" and I was on cloud 9. His birthday was on 12/11. We went out to dinner at Benihanas. That night we kissed (forign style) on my doorstep that was the last time I ever did and probly will ever kiss him. (It was sloppy too). I got this funny looking glass from Benihana's and I am looking at it right now. We broke up (he broke up with me). He says he broke up with me because we dont see enough of each other and it just wasn't working out. We're still friends though. Thats good. He had Kara tell me he wanted to break up. That was totally SHITTY!!! His old girlfriend Bobbi (I call her bogie because I used to hate her because she was going with Joe)(Bogie means "Boyfriends Girlfriend") said he was a neat kisser. He was! The last one wasn't very sloppy but it was his sloppiest with me. For my birthday he gave me the chain I am wearing right now with a holly leaf on it (Gawdy). I never got him anything. I was going to get it for him the day he broke up with me but forgrt him for that! Joe isn't cute at all. Dont ask me why I liked him even though I am still in love with him. Since then TRAVIS came into my life and called me on friday the 18th or whatever and says "Do you think I was going to ask you to go with me and I said "No, why?" and he said "Because I was thinking about it but I knew you wouldn't say yes". Then he started telling me that he stayed up 4 hours the last night and that he has "PROFANE" dreams about me. Then he said he'd forget everything and we could just be friends and now he calls me every once in a while to talk about "life". I have met many new people like Kami (one of my best friends, she is in all of my classes (even P.E.) and she helps me get through bad times. I help her get through bad times too. I also met Lisa, Lisa R., Ron (a very cute guy, I have never seen anyone so cute in my life), John (my forever lover)(I like wearing his "Town and Country" jacket for a joke) I got to know Dinko and Rudy better. WAH! Rudy moved to San Francisco on Saturday the 19th. Dinko is my play around lover too! So is Craig! Kara is going with Guy S. (he went to nursury school with me) but fell in love with Craig dancing at Kami's party. Poor thing. Erica is going with Andy K. who went with Kara in 6th and sumer and the beginning of 7th grade and who went with Jennelle right after Kara the asked Erica and they are still going with each other. Oh! Travis called me yesterday morning and told me that he got a pair of JORDACHE and a lavendar TIGER (Le Tigre) top. HOW SEXY! Joe already has both. Joe has light blue, yellow, and lavendar TIGER tops. I have a red TIGER top and a pink ALLIGATOR top. Joe looks so SEXY in his Jordache. I wonder how Travis will look. Just a few days ago was the YMCA raggers breakfast. Brian D. wasn't there. Too bad! I want to know whats going on with him. After all I am married to him. He did give me my first meaningful kiss. All the others before were "Truth or Dare" kind. I still have my marriage lisence. I married Brian D. once, Brian W. once and Luis S. once. Brian wasn't there until the last minute of the carnaval then we were the last ones to get married. He said "Linda, will you marry me." That sounds trippy huh! I haven't written in you for so long! Summer was pretty cool. I had a great time at Catalina and at th Mary Star Fiesta. ( I just left from writing in you because Kirstn came to give me a present. She got me a make up bag with some maskara and lipstick in it. It is pretty. Well back to the subject. This summer was pretty cool but now it is in the middle of winter but it is still pretty warm. Now got 2 pairs of knickers and lots of new clothes. Kara's got a job and I do it every friday for 5 dollars. It is at a hair styling shop. Oh! I almost forgot. I made all stars on my softball team and now I am on all stars for soccer. How time flys. Gee! Tomorrow's Christmas. I forgot to tell you that I really love Dodson and I met so many new people. And I have pretty nice teachers even though I am in the "MAGNET". At first I didn't like it but once I met Joe I do. My new fad is GUMBY. I have a Gumby doll that Kami got me for Christmas. (I got her one too). I also like LIPS. I am going to start collecting lip things because of my big lips. Yeah Yeah. Today is Christmas eve. Time to return to my Tom Petty and Forigner records. Well I have to go I'll write tomorrow maybe.
